Our Mission
Children spend years learning about artists without ever meeting one. They learn about architecture without talking to an architect, graphic design without meeting a designer, or books without meeting the people who write, print, edit, and publish them.
Artclub exists to help close that gap.
We also believe that kids deserve opportunities to contribute to their communities. Whether it's painting neighborhood signs, screen printing at a public event, or creating something inspired by a local artist, making things becomes a way to participate in the city rather than simply move through it.
Artclub isn't preparing children for careers in the arts. It's helping them become more observant, more curious, and more engaged with the world around them. If a child leaves one of our sessions looking more closely at a building, asking more questions in a museum, or noticing something they would have walked past before, we've done our job.
Our mission is to connect children with the people, places, and ideas that shape creative life. We believe that museums, artist studios, bookstores, workshops, neighborhoods, and public spaces all have something to teach us. By exploring them together, children begin to understand that creativity isn't reserved for galleries or classrooms. It's part of everyday life.
